The effect of micropigmentation in the epidermal layer of the skin can persist from a few months to three years and is influenced by the professionalism of the master, the quality of the pigment, your skin type and lifestyle. In the first 1—7 days of healing, mechanical effects and exposure to UV rays should be avoided, but from the 15th-30th day the pigment hardens to the final tone.

In order for the procedure to be safe and the healing of the pigment to be perfect, avoid blood thinners, alcohol, chemical peels, solarium, baths and intense water contact for 7 days after micropigmentation. In the case of allergic people, an allergy test should be taken a week before, but the lip area should also undergo herpes prophylaxis.

If you are a carrier of the herpes virus, start antiviral therapy (Gereplan or Acyclovir 800 mg per day) two days before lip micropigmentation, and also strengthen the immune system with vitamin C and lysine. This reduces the risk of flares and provides a safe, neutral and persistent color input.

Certain things — menstruation, pregnancy, local infections, active inflammatory skin disease, or immune disorders — can temporarily prevent the possibility of micropigmentation.
